trapped in the middle of nowhere. all hell pours down on me. I'm heading north, all roads are blocked. there is no easy way. no time for a second chance. no short cut to bring me back. into your arms. where i belong. i worked too long for this. now i can't return. never, ever again. never, ever again. half stuck in the middle of nothing. distant cries are all i hear. lost memories of lullabies. expectations lead my way. i bow down, down to nothing. and still the rain keeps pouring down on me. keeps pouring down. this soil is soaked with sadness. this soil is poisoned. black birds circling above my head. soon they'll feast on this heart that is cold and dead. i wished for this too long, now i can't return. still waiting for that life for that i yearn. and the rain keeps pouring down. all hell keeps pouring down. and the rain keeps pouring down. all hell keeps pouring down.
on the other side of myself. at a different point in time. wave my hands. kissing goodbye i put an end to all my dreams. the last deep breath of a world. that kills every seed of passion. inhaling black clouds that surround me. sacrificied. it is all just for nothing. from inside i bleed the blood of a tortured man. silent screams out of collapsed lungs. black echoes. that are filling my head. my heart kept beating this dead rhythm for far too long. it keeps beating on and on. barely alive. that spark in your eyes. it touched me a thousand times. that spark has ceased. burned out. break those hands. those hands that drag me down. for no one returns you stolen years.
turned the pages of our book of love. blank pages everywhere. you even crossed out the chapters before. black lines everywhere. and then she said: “i can't stand another chance. i won't change my life for you. i just don't feel the same. I can't feel anything at all.” and even by saying these most horrorfying words. it's the warmest voice i've ever known. that is digging my grave. why can't i be close to your heart? what put me here miserable as sin? and the light, the tunnel and the end. and all the other clichees. it almost seems ridiculous, almost too easy. am i supposed to walk down the same old road again? all the guilt now rests on your shoulders. the burden of a melting heart that follows you day by day. i'd love to see you suffer. i want you to bleed for me. you can't be cold like that. please don't give up on this. please don't. you shall burn in hell. i need your sorry eyes. all your painfull sleepless nights. all your sorrow. the begging calls late in the night. and i’m turning pages of empty books. try to read between the lines that never existed. try to find an answer. try to find anything at all. anything at all.
